Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Temperatures.com is built to be read, not to read you. This policy explains what little data we handle and why.
What we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not collect names, email addresses or precise locations. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and capacity planning; these are rotated automatically.
Cookies and local storage
We set one functional cookie: unit, which remembers whether you prefer °F or °C. It contains
no identifier and is not used for tracking. Our analytics provider, Clicky, may also set cookies to
distinguish visits in aggregate - see below.
Third-party services
Weather data is fetched by our servers from WeatherAPI.com - your browser never contacts them directly, and no personal data is shared with them.
We use Clicky (Roxr Software Ltd), a privacy-focused web analytics service, to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site in aggregate: pages viewed, referrers, browser type and approximate region. We do not use this data to identify individuals, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. See the Clicky privacy policy for details. Beyond Clicky, pages load no third-party fonts, ads or trackers.
Your choices
You can clear or block the unit cookie in your browser at any time; the site works fine without it. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
