Living in Fort Myers, you quickly learn that weather here has its own rhythm. January kicks off with mild temperatures, averaging around 65°F. Perfect for enjoying outdoor cafes without needing a heavy jacket. Come February, you notice a slight uptick in warmth, signaling spring’s approach.

March and April bring about a noticeable change. Temperatures climb into the high 70s, sometimes touching 80°F. Flowers bloom, and beach days become regular. By May, you’re in the full swing of spring, with temperatures often reaching the mid-80s. Sunscreen becomes my best friend.

Summer, from June through August, is hot and humid. Average highs hover around 90°F, but with humidity, it feels hotter. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, offering a dramatic display of lightning over the Gulf.

September still feels like summer, but by October, there’s a subtle shift. Temperatures start to cool, dropping back into the 80s. November and December are truly delightful, with cooler air and less humidity. Highs are in the mid-70s, making outdoor activities enjoyable again.

Throughout the year, Fort Myers offers a climate that’s generally warm and inviting. Each season has its charm, from balmy winters to sultry summers, making it a great place to experience a wide range of weather patterns.
